I’ll be starting my first year teaching this fall, in a bilingual school, so on top of teaching my first year it will also be my first year teaching in my second language! I’ve taught Spanish as a second language, but haven’t taught math, reading, writing, etc IN Spanish. I too get caught up on Pinterest and all the shiny sparkly classrooms. This is a good reminder that I don’t need to do it all at once. I especially like the quote you have on the last one!

However, I’ve got the impression that notebooks are still less than powerful more than enough to be a good choice if you typically do projects that require plenty of power, such as video enhancing. But for net surfing, statement processing, and most other common computer functions they are just great, provided you cannot mind the small screen size. Thank you for sharing your ideas.

Even as a first year teacher there are days you question why you are in this profession. As much as I love my kids and my job you still have though thoughts on a rough day… Do an activity each week to remind you why you became a teacher is a wonderful tip!!
